What is Transportation Services

School District 47 provides bus transportation for students who live more than 3.2 km away (as the crow flies) from the school in their catchment area, with the exception of Edgehill Elementary, to which there is no bussing currently in place.

  • 1 Bus Garage Foreman
  • 1 Bus Mechanic
  • 13 Bus Drivers

How to Apply

Please refer to the map to see if your residence qualifies. After October 1 of each school year, courtesy passes may be available to students within walking distance, and to students attending a school outside their catchment area, depending on availability of bus routes to the school and space on the bus. Please refer to the bussing brochure for the general guidelines and expectations for riding school buses, as well as for an explanation of who courtesy riders are and the conditions under which courtesy ridership is granted. If you wish to apply for bussing, please print out the application for School Bus Transportation and either email the completed form to transportation@sd47.bc.ca, fax it to the School Board Office at 604-485-4895, or call 604-414-2612 for further information.
