The School District 47 Partners in Education (PIE) Program is a partnership between the School District and parents who have chosen to educate their children at home as a means to meet the prescribed learning outcomes of the Ministry of Education. Individual Student Learning Plans (SLPs) will be developed to meet the individual needs of students and families.
Student learning plans may vary from complete home delivery of curriculum to partial home delivery with the student attending school part time. The assessment and evaluation of student learning will be the responsibility of a district teacher according to the requirements of provincial legislation.
If you would like to learn more about this educational option please refer to our program guide or contact the programs coordinator.
