The wind is predicted to be a little crazy today (Monday October 25th, 2021). The ORCA Bus is scheduled to run an outdoor program at James Thomson this morning. This program is cancelled due to the wind warning.

We are a thrilled that we have been able to open programming at Henderson, Westview and Edgehill Elementary schools. The StrongStart Outreach program with the ORCA bus is also offering outdoor programming in neighborhoods and parks around the community.  All StrongStart facilitators are thrilled to offer in-class programming and are excited to connect with children who have attended in the past and to meet new families!  The Kelly Creek StrongStart will open on Monday September 27th 2021. LOCATION CHANGE: Because of increased enrollment in the K-7 classes at Kelly Creek Community School the StrongStart classroom was needed by the school. The Kelly Creek StrongStart has moved to the basement of the Kelly Creek  Community Church (across the road and a bit farther down the road on the right). StrongStart hours are the same: M-T-W-F: 8:30-11:30; Th: 11:30-2:30. This move is temporary, for the 2021/2022 school year, while the school district makes long-term plans for StrongStart space in the school.
