The school came together to learn and celebrate the work of Division 2 (over more than a year) that culminated in a cedar paddle with indigenous learnings.  The paddle now proudly hangs in our front entrance.  Emote to all that attended!​

KCCS students competed in the annual District Track and Field meet at Timberline!​

Families and community were welcomed to the annual event, which showcased music performances, an appreciation tea with service and student market.

​Elementary school choirs from Kelly Creek, Edgehill, Henderson, James Thomson and Westview participated in the annual Townsite Jazz Festival with jazz singer Heather Bambrick on Friday, April 14 at the Max Cameron Theatre.

​Ready, Set, Learn is a  Ministry of Education and Childcare initiative that is intended for families and their three- to five-year-old children.   Families get a mini-tour and an opportunity to visit different school spaces, and pre-registration is required. Click to register here.

We were excited and honoured to welcome PRPL's Author In Residence for 2022, Gabrielle Prendergast, to Kelly Creek for some enriching learning experiences for primary and intermediate classes.  We are thankful to the Powell River Public Library for their collaboration and support on this fantastic opportunity for our students, library and school.
