Learn about the French Immersion program at James Thomson

French Immersion is an educational program that provides students, whose first language is not French, the opportunity to become bilingual. Many students start the program in Kindergarten with little or no French language bases. This is achieved by providing instruction of BC Ministry of Education curriculum mostly or entirely in French during the primary years (K-3). Early French Immersion in qathet School District begins in Kindergarten at James Thomson Elementary.
