Schools will remain open for the final week of school. Please click to see message from Dr. Jay Yule Superintendent of Schools
I hope you are enjoying the heat and taking advantage of the wonderful opportunities our community has to offer with the lakes and ocean. This message is to inform you that schools are open tomorrow and we are working to take steps to make classrooms as comfortable as we can given the extreme heat. If you feel your child's health is comprised in any way by sending them to school, please keep them at home. No student will be penalized for missing school due to this heat wave, but we do recognize students want to enjoy the year end celebrations and to be with their peers. Don't forget your water bottle, stay hydrated! Please find a link to advice from Health Canada below.
If you have any questions please contact your Principal.

This is new to all of us. Be patient with yourself, your child, and teachers as we make our way through this new way of teaching and learning together. We know that each student and family is unique and we want to reassure you that whatever decisions you make for your child and your family are the right ones. All families are doing what they are able to build in learning at home and are giving their best. Some families will want to spend time exploring the learning opportunities that teachers provide. Others will want to do more and others will want to do less. Do what works and fits for you and your family. Please know that you are doing a great job!
