StrongStart

qathet School District offers StrongStart and StrongStart GO, which are free drop-in early learning programs to families with children aged 0-5. These programs are led by qualified Early Childhood Educators who guide learning activities, support child development, and create opportunities for families to learn and grow together. Parents and caregivers participate alongside their children in engaging, play-based activities. 

  • StrongStart is a welcoming, indoor program located at various centres across the qathet region.
  • StrongStart GO is our mobile, outdoor version held in local parks, playgrounds and pop-up locations from October to June. Families can spot the StrongStart GO van to know they’re in the right place!

While sessions are not offered on Texada Island, families and their little learners are welcome to attend any StrongStart or StrongStart GO session at one of our other program locations whenever they're in the area.
