We're Participating in #ShakeOutBC

qathet School District is signed up to take part in the The Great BC ShakeOut Drill on Thursday, October 16th. Schools across the district will be participating to help raise awareness and prepare students and staff for earthquakes.

Reminder on How to Run a Drill:

Emergency management experts and other official preparedness organizations agree that “Drop, Cover, and Hold On” is the appropriate action to reduce injury and death during earthquakes. The ShakeOut is our opportunity to practice how to protect ourselves during earthquakes.
