Félicitations to the French Immersion Graduates of 2026!

The qSD French Immersion community came together to celebrate the French Immersion graduates who have earned their Dual Dogwood Diplomas, while also reflecting on how far they have come since their first days in French Immersion.

For many of these graduates, the journey began together in kindergarten. One of the special parts of being in French Immersion is learning alongside the same classmates year after year, creating a close-knit community and deep friendships along the way.

In front of younger French Immersion students at James Thomson Elementary, the graduates were recognized for their years of hard work, perseverance, and growth. They heard from Mme Megan Kaukas and M. Maxime Paquette, teachers who have taught them over the years and had the privilege of watching them grow into the remarkable young adults they are today.
