Brooks International Program Hosts Food & Cultural Fair
The International Program students at Brooks Secondary hosted their annual Food Fair last night for host families, guardians, and staff.
The evening Food Fair featured dishes from students’ home countries, giving students a chance to share traditional foods and guests an opportunity to experience the many cultures represented in the program. In preparation, International students teamed up with Brooks culinary students and Chef Connor Knickerbocker to create all the dishes served. A big thank you to the culinary team for their hard work and dedication in making the night a success.
Earlier in the day, students also organized a cultural fair for Brooks students, where they created board displays about their home countries and hosted games and international trivia. Every grade at Brooks had the opportunity to walk through the fair and learn more about the diverse cultures and backgrounds represented within the school community.

Thank you to everyone involved for such a fun and meaningful learning experience, and a very delicious dinner!
