Halloween Costume Reminders
Halloween is just around the corner, and we’re looking forward to the creativity and fun it brings to our schools! As students and families prepare to celebrate, we encourage everyone to choose costumes that are thoughtful, respectful, and appropriate for school. Please keep the following guidelines in mind when choosing a costume:
- Be thoughtful. Choose costumes that are respectful and do not appropriate or misrepresent any culture, identity, or group.
- Keep it school-appropriate and safe. Avoid costumes depicting violence or promoting alcohol or drugs. Replica weapons, including toy guns and knives, are not permitted at school. Students should also remain recognizable, so please leave masks at home.
