Learn About the International Education Program at Brooks
It’s been an exciting start to the school year for Brooks’ International Education Program, which welcomed 100 students this September from eight countries around the world, including Germany, Japan, France, China, Korea, Belgium, Brazil, and the USA.
As students settle into life at Brooks, they’re already making new friends, sharing their cultures, and exploring all that the qathet community has to offer. So far, they’ve visited the Lang Creek Hatchery to watch the salmon spawn, checked out the sea lions, spent time at the Outdoor Learning Centre, enjoyed playing ultimate frisbee and beach volleyball, and explored town on a hop-on/hop-off bus tour. And, there’s still plenty of fun ahead this fall, with a trip to Vancouver Island, curling, and a haunted walk through Townsite!
